As part of the #interactive_SK​ 2021 season, Dawn Doukas interviewed Elizabeth Vlassi from Genie Tours to find out more about the exciting, traditional and quirky Corfu island tours she has on offer for the holiday season 2021.

I had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth Vlassi, owner and creator extraordinaire back in 2003/4 where we were to then, become very good friends. 

Smile of a child charity brought us even closer.......

A group of lovely ladies from the South of Corfu got together to raise funds for the Smile of a Child home, here in Corfu. Elizabeth Vlassi was the leader, choir conductor and creator of this group of lovely ladies. Carol singing around the villages of Lefkimmi and also most recently Corfu town, heavy rain included, it didn't stop Elizabeth and the group hitting their goal.

With as much dedication Lizzy had a dream, to one day have here own company. Showing visitors and lovers of the island alike, the best of experiences while traveling with her in a VIP minivan. Focusing first in here own territory, the South of Corfu. The title of the tour, simply...The beautiful south.

Going from strength to strength, even through a pandemic, Lizzy and her co driver Annika have entertained many visitors both here and on the mainland of Greece.

A brand new concept of tour with more of a narrator of stories, including history, traditional fables, local knowledge and best of all music. Each tour has its own music tack list of which enlightens the senses when you are surrounded with the landscapes of Corfu.

Being a friend I volunteered my services as a'' research assistant'', to her brand new creation, ''The Durrells'' Tour. So much detail has gone into this trip to maximize the glorious success of the ITV series, that brought the Gerald Durrell trilogy to life on screen.
